TR-900 STRAP, THE MILSPEC STRAP FOR 1960’S DIVE WATCHES

In 1964 the Tornek-Rayville military dive watch was issued on a strap meeting the military specification MIL-S-46383, STRAP, WRIST: INSTRUMENT of 20 July 1963. 

The strap was the Type I – Strap, Special Purpose: Non-Magnetic Buckle.

This has been recreated in 20mm wide webbing to the original military specification, with a non-magnetic brass buckle, plated matt black.   A 16mm wide webbing keeper is used.

This is not a modern homage to the Type I strap, it is a recreation of the 1960’s ribbed style webbing and buckle, and has the authentic 1960’s feel.

Due to demand, we also make the strap with the non-magnetic brass buckle, not plated, and a stainless steel buckle.

The strap has also been made in a 16mm wide version to fit smaller lug width watches, with either a brass matt black plated buckle or stainless steel buckle.
